TWC Biz Spending $100 Million on Fiber

According to Time Warner Cable's (NYSE:TWC) corporate blog, the MSO's business services division, Time Warner Cable Business Class, is currently investing approximately $50 million to expand its fiber broadband network in key markets throughout the state of New York. As previously reported, throughout 2012, an investment of nearly $25 million is being made to expand TWCBC's fiber network in New York City. An additional $25 million is being invested upstate, with an average of $5 million to $6 million being invested to expand fiber in Albany, Central New York, Rochester and Buffalo.Another $50 million is being invested throughout the Carolinas, where TWCBC offers customized services in sectors including healthcare, education, government and public safety. TWCBC is also extending its network to areas not currently served by TWCBC, or in some cases, any telecommunications provider.
