AT&T (NYSE:T) plans to expand its U-verse with GigaPower all-fiber network to reach twice as many Austin, TX, area households in 2014. The network, which the telco lit up in December, currently offers speeds up to 300 Mbps, and AT&T plans to increase speeds to up to 1 Gbps later this year.
