AT&T (NYSE:T) has begun deployment of a 100% fiber Internet broadband network in Austin intended to deliver speeds up to 1 Gbps. The telco plans to begin delivering AT&T U-verse with GigaPower, along with more advanced TV services and features, in December.The December launch will initially feature symmetrical speeds of up to 300 Mbps, with plans to reach speeds up to 1 Gbps by mid-2014.
