Vyve Broadband has completed its acquisition of Community Cable and Broadband assets of assets and network, advancing the service provider’s reach into Skiatook, OK and surrounding areas.
With the completion of this acquisition, which was originally announced in July, Vyve Broadband takes the reins of CCB’s network, with immediate upgrade plans in place to deliver Vyve Gig internet speeds to these new communities.
Besides offering faster internet speeds, Vyve Broadband is introducing a range of new HD video solutions tailored to meet the diverse entertainment needs of its customers.
Vyve Broadband’s commitment to bridging the digital divide extends beyond just enhancing services. As part of its community-focused approach, Vyve is proud to bring participation in the “Affordable Connectivity Program” to these markets. Through this program, qualified households may be eligible to receive free internet service (up to a $75 discount per month), ensuring that vital online resources are accessible to all community members.
“We believe everyone should have the opportunity to stay connected, regardless of their circumstances,” said Andy Parrott, president, and COO of Vyve Broadband. “Through the Affordable Connectivity Program, we are excited to offer qualifying customers the chance to experience the power of the internet and unlock new opportunities.”
The company will continue to drive digital inclusion in Avant, Barnsdall, Collinsville, Hominy, Oilton, Skiatook, Sperry and Yale.
Community Cable and Broadband is just one acquisition Vyve has made to enhance its network and service reach.
Vyve has also expanded its business services capabilities by purchasing Vidalia, Georgia, area-based ATC Broadband. ATC's serving area includes the cities of Swainsboro, Lyons, Vidalia, Emanuel County, Toombs County and Montgomery County. The company said the acquisition move will further strengthen Vyve’s presence in the region and enhance its ability to serve commercial customers' evolving needs.
As the integration process begins, Vyve Broadband will work closely with the former ATC Broadband commercial customers to ensure a seamless transition and introduce them to a broad range of services and solutions.
