At IBC in Amsterdam in September, Edgeware will showcase upgrades to its Video Consolidation Platform (VCP) and introduce an upgraded analytics tool.

Upgrades to Edgeware's VCP, which is designed as a single platform to deliver video content both to set-top boxes and newer IP multiscreen devices, are focused on scalability for bandwidth intensive services such as 4K UltraHD video and cloud DVR.

The company's Convoy Management Software analytics control and management tool is designed to enable broadcasters and service providers to monitor, analyze and understand all aspects of the TV service, from the quality of the network, through user experience to content popularity.
