ProLabs Very High Temperature (VHT) SFP+ 10G 80-km Transceivers

Sept. 21, 2021
ProLabs’ very high temperature (VHT) 10G SFP+ transceivers reinforce key links in transport networks that must be deployed outside of climate-controlled areas.

ProLabs’ very high temperature (VHT) 10G SFP+ transceivers reinforce key links in transport networks that must be deployed outside of climate-controlled areas. The extreme temperatures supported (-40°C - 95°C) also support junctures where optics are expected to be under very high constant load (and thus generate extremely high operating temperatures). By deploying one of these modules, broadband cable engineers achieve network assurance in any environment or use case, extending DWDM signals flexibly with an SFP+ form factor.

Judge’s Comment: “These solve the real estate problem for extending reach, making system design fit the market.”
