Gigapower and AT&T expand fiber network to Southern Minneapolis-St. Paul

Gigapower’s open access platform will provide multi-gig internet to thousands of customers.

Wholesale broadband transport service provider Gigapower announced on Feb. 22 that it and AT&T are expanding its multi-gig fiber network to Southern Minneapolis-St. Paul—specifically to businesses and residents in the communities of Apple Valley, Bloomington, Burnsville, Eagan, Eden Prairie, Farmington, Lakeville, Rosemount, Savage, and Shakopee.

The AT&T fiber will implement Gigapower’s open access platform, created through a partnership with AT&T and BlackRock’s Diversified Infrastructure business fund.
