Charles Industries has introduced a family of compact enclosures designed to accommodate fiber, copper or coaxial cable at multi-user distribution points. The CFIT-Flex enclosures are customer configurable to for different "splice and drop" applications, with customizable features including removable port plates and optional bulkheads designed to adapt the enclosure to each network's requirements.

The enclosures may be wall, pole, strand or pedestal mounted and configured to meet a variety of fiber, copper or coaxial distribution applications. A universal backplane can be equipped with up to three small hinged fiber splice trays, more than a dozen configurations of removable and interchangeable feed and drop cable port plates, internal cable management and bend radius controls, and an optional swing-out 24-port fiber bulkhead for technician access to feed and drop cables without disturbing existing subscriber connections.
