The great changes impacting cable operators are nowhere felt more keenly than at the hub. On the video side, there is more content to deliver and more ways of delivering it. Phone and high speed data services also are expanding. All of this functionality must squeeze into a small and typically unmanned facility. And, as functionality expands, cooling and power must grow as well. Something has got to give. Luckily, the same sort of innovation that led to the challenges can be put to work in meeting them.
