Huawei Cloud DVR (cDVR) stores, caches, transcodes, packages, encrypts and restreams content to any device, any location, any time. It is designed to allow low-cost set-top boxes and mobile OTT devices to include personal video recording and buffering of live TV and other live streams.

The cDVR can be deployed as a set of private cloud appliances based on standard x86 hardware and off-the-shelf storage devices running in operator data centers. Alternately, cDVR can run on third-party data centers as a platform, as a service agreement or as a combination of the two types of deployment.

Huawei's cDVR solution supports more than 10 million users globally with multiple large-scale deployments.
