VOS Cloud is an extension of Harmonic's VOS software-based media processing technology. It manages the entire video production and delivery workflow for broadcast and OTT, via standard IT hardware, on-premises or over public or private cloud infrastructure. Automated video formation technology uses standard IT deployment templates to simplify setup and unlock media processing and delivery workflows.
The hybrid cloud operation and IT-based, template-driven video workflow accelerate time to market for new OTT multiscreen services. A service can be launched while its planned on-premises infrastructure is being built. When ready, the service is switched from the cloud to the physical infrastructure.
