Inter Mountain Cable in Kentucky is deploying Espial's (TSX:ESP) Elevate cloud-based video platform to support a variety of TV services across its IPTV and cable networks.

Espial's Elevate is a TVaaS video platform designed to allow operators to manage, deliver and monetize video. The user interface features voice-based navigation, discovery, and viewing of traditional content and streaming services like Netflix and YouTube. Elevate also includes cloud tools for operations, marketing, support, and engineering, including analytics, promotions, segmentation, and diagnostics.

John Schmoldt, VP and director of operations at Inter Mountain Cable, said: "Using Espial's Elevate platform will allow us to simplify our video business significantly. With one unified video platform, we will be able to offer IPTV, app-based TV, and cable services to our subscribers. The compelling services and continuous innovation that we will be able to offer our customers made selecting Espial's Elevate platform the only choice for us."

Matt James, vice president North America sales at Espial, said: "We are excited to have the opportunity to work with IMC to help enhance and enrich their customers' entertainment experience. Operators such as IMC are facing more and more competition in the market, but with Elevate, they have a solution that combines the best of traditional TV and OTT video services into a seamless offer."
