At the NAB Show in Las Vegas, Verimatrix will introduce a number of video security products, as well as a brand program, "The Future of Connected Security," to illustrate IP- and software-based security to protect and monetize next-generation services.
The company's VideoMark solution will be available as a standalone client-side watermarking option for multi-layered security platforms for premium content services. Additionally, the company is offering its patented StreamMark solution to provide watermarking within a server-side architecture, including for adaptive bitrate (ABR) streaming service delivery. It is DRM-agnostic and has been integrated with third-party encoder and CDN components.
Verimatrix will also be announcing the MultiRights OTT Plus solution, intended to enable content owners and aggregators to combine revenue security and analytics for OTT video. The solution will be available at a range of price points on a subscription basis and with physical and cloud-based deployment options.
"We've been talking about the changing technical and business landscape for next-generation service providers and the associated security implications," said Tom Munro, CEO of Verimatrix. "We have always been focused on providing technology that is agile enough to support service providers as they navigate industry transitions and create new competitive advantages. Our expanded offerings and presence at NAB reinforce this position as operators redefine their security strategies."
The company will also demonstrate new reporting options available in the analytics portal of its Verspective Operator Analytics solution, including a real-time client module, subscriber quality of experience (QoE) module and VOD insights module.
