TelVue Upgrades Video Servers

TelVue has upgraded two of its broadcast servers, the B100 and B1000 HyperCasters. The Second Generation HyperCasters include solid-state drive for the operating system, more cores and RAM, all the capabilities of the previous generation B3000-HyperCaster in a smaller 1U form-factor, front panel display, and in the B100, doubling the channel output bandwidth in the same form factor.The new HyperCasters are designed to be integrated with the TelVue Connect cloud-based content management system for a Web-accessible solution for content aggregation, transcoding, scheduling, and playout.The B1000 HyperCaster is designed to provide IP origination for up to 20 independent digital broadcast channels, while the B100 HyperCaster is designed to provide IP origination for up to four independent digital broadcast channels.
