Aurora Extends Passive Optics' Range

Oct. 26, 2012
Aurora Networks says enhanced link performance from its multi-wavelength transmitters to its smart node platform enables the delivery of 40 wavelengths of full spectrum transmission at 40 km reach, with no amplification. Aurora products involved in the upgrade include its Full Spectrum DWDM transmitter, the AT3545G-xx-1, and its smart node platform. The overall system is intended for high output with all-QAM loading.
