Infinera Heading to Canadian Summit

March 22, 2012
Infinera announced its participation next week at the SCTE Canadian Summit in Toronto, Ontario. At this year's Summit, Infinera will showcase its DTN-X platform, a multi-terabit optical transport solution. Company representatives will describe how optical networks based on photonic integration and integrated OTN bandwidth management can provide a cost-effective approach to reducing transport costs. The DTN-X platform is an optical network solution built using 500 Gbps photonic integrated circuits (PICs), integrating more than 600 optical functions onto a pair of chips to deliver 500 Gbps FlexCoherent super-channels. It's designed to work seamlessly with Infinera's DTN Digital ROADM and ATN metro edge platform, offering an end-to-end scalable optical transport network from the metro edge through regional networks and across the national backbone.
