With the notice this week of the exhaustion of IANA IPv4 addresses, the SCTE announced enhanced availability of resources designed to prepare engineering and operations professionals for the transition to IPv6.

Registrations are now being accepted for "Migration to an IPv6 Infrastructure," an SCTE Live Learning course scheduled for March 16, as well as for "IPv6: Impact on Cable Networks," a seven-week online course that begins April 4. The SCTE also offers customized on-site IPv6 training for companies or local chapters, as well as a variety of member-exclusive IPv6 resources.
