Hitron Technologies is showcasing its DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 wireless cable gateway with integrated four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch and Wi-Fi 802.11n 3X3 MIMO Access Point at Expo.The wireless cable gateway, the Hitron CGN, is designed to deliver speeds of up to 320 Mbps (8x4) with eight bonded downstream channels over its DOCSIS interface. The integrated four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch and WiFi 802.11n 3X3 MIMO Access Point are intended for wireless home networking. The CGN supports pre-configured and pre-enabled WiFi security via WiFi Protected Setup (WPS). For network and routing management, the Hitron CGN supports TR-69, HNAP and IPv6 routing.
