Aurora Networks recently unveiled its HT3541H Double-density Full Spectrum DWDM Transmitter System. The new line features 24 transmitters including dual power supplies, communications module and optical multiplexing in 3RU. Their bandwidth has been expanded to over 1.2 GHz in preparation for DOCSIS 3.1.The new product line is designed for light analog channel loading up to 30 channels (up to 258 MHz), plus QAM channels, while also supporting evolution to all-QAM loading. It's designed to support 40 DWDM wavelengths and has dual inputs for broadcast and narrowcast signals, as well as local and remote status monitoring features. The transmitter modules are individually hot-swappable and feature "zero-slot" multiplexing backplates for plug-and-play connections and optical combining.
