Teleste is partnering with Samsung Electronics on IP service delivery in hospitality environments. The joint solution uses Teleste's DOCSIS Access Hub, the DAH100, and Samsung's DOCSIS HE694 HTV smart TV sets to provide IP video and Internet access to guest rooms over hotels' existing coaxial cabling.

Teleste's DAH100 extends the IP network to more than 250 guest rooms simultaneously over coax. Within each room, an Internet access point is provided via the embedded DOCSIS cable modem and wireless access point in the Samsung smart TV, removing the need for separate cable modems and wireless access points.
