The ZyPerMX HD IP video encoder uses H.264 (MPEG-4) encoding technology, and is intended to provide a bridge between the current high definition iSeries and the 4K/UHD ZyPer4k products. As many new buildings have been wired without traditional coaxial cabling, the ZyPerMX provides an IP video encoding solution to deliver video content over Ethernet networks.
The ZvMXE, debuting at the show, is an IP decoder designed to provide an end-to-end IP solution when married to the ZyPerMx IP encoder. The ZvMXE integrates with the ZyPerMX and is designed for the distribution of video over standard IP network infrastructures.
The new ZyPer4k CATx expands upon the ZyPer4K platform to switch and distribute uncompressed 4K/UltraHD video, audio and RS232/IR control signals by leveraging off-the-shelf 10GigE switching products, with support for CATx infrastructures.
The company is also running demos of its RF/coax encoders and modulators.
