Midco says it has completed its fiber-optic broadband infrastructure construction in Annandale, MN, five weeks ahead of schedule. Available services include video, voice and Internet up to 200 Mbps. By the end of 2017, Midco expects to upgrade its system to offer 1 Gbps speeds across its entire service area.

Midco built approximately 292,000 feet - more than 55 miles - of infrastructure in Annandale, passing more than 2,600 homes and businesses. The company announced the project in August 2015 and started construction this April. In June, the first services were turned on for the first neighborhoods. Last week, the company added its 500th customer in Annandale.

Midco is currently evaluating whether to expand service to neighborhoods outside Annandale city limits.
