The complete elimination of diplex filters from the network means that after upgrading to 1.8 GHz the network does not have to be touched again for split changes.
The Technetix 1.8 GHz Direction Neutral Network (DNN) forms the basis of the One Touch Network. The DNN gives operators a very flexible and high-performance approach to compete with fiber, says the company. The complete elimination of diplex filters from the network means that after upgrading to 1.8 GHz the network does not have to be touched again for split changes.

Judge’s Comment: “By allowing the operator to change the upstream/downstream split without a truck roll, this product opens up a new way of transformation of the outside plant. It also has applicability as a booster amplifier to increase the range of traditional amplifiers without requiring plant reworking.”
