This next-generation broadband power supply platform features the compact XM3.1HPL, with 3 and 5 Amp versions, and the XM3.1HP, which provides the standard 8, 10, 15, and 18 Amp offerings plus a new 21 Amp unit. DOCSIS 3.1 status monitoring and data backhaul are primary features, but the units also provide SFP optical monitoring for fiber deep architectures as well as Alpha APPs+ for enhanced battery and power supply performance metrics. New power supply features and enhancements are available via remote firmware upgrades.

Judge's Comment: "Right-sizing the power supply to today's network load is like driving in the right gear in a car. Many operators over size the power supply so that they can inventory 1-2 units. This is a mistake. The HPL offering is perfect for lower power applications such as Remote PHY and Remote MAC/PHY and HFC Node+0 or Node+1 designs."
