TiVo, Virgin Media Expand TV Everywhere

TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) announced details of the latest features coming to its next-generation TV offering with Virgin Media. It's intended to enable Virgin Media subscribers to access content delivered from the cloud on devices beyond the living room through a new service called Virgin TV Anywhere.The two companies are now expanding the capabilities of the TiVo offering by introducing a cloud-based experience to give subscribers access to live program viewing online, and on tablet and mobile phone devices through a free downloadable iOS app. Additionally, consumers will have the ability to remotely manage shows and interface directly with their TVs through their mobile devices.
