The ViewPoint RPM (Return Path Maintenance) Module is a dashboard for reverse monitoring operations that consolidates an entire system of 9581 SSTs into one unified browser interface. MSOs have the ability to view all nodes from one location to determine if each area is performing to specifications.
Designed for use with Trilithic's Guardian II System, the RPM Module can replay every node's history so that if there are nighttime ingress issues, for example, the operator can access the maximum, minimum and average spectrum history for each one to determine which signature was at fault.With this tool, managers can view overall system health from the customer premises to the CMTS and can compare locations within the system by countries, states, cities, hubs, nodes, etc. But what one Diamonds judge in particular liked best about the module is the mobile smartphone application. Using a smart device (iPad, iPhone, etc.), an unlimited number of technicians can view live active nodes without causing any side effects to other users or delay in data captured.
