Charter Hires Another Cablevision Vet

BlackleyCharter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) has hired industry veteran Jim Blackley as executive vice president, engineering and information technology. In his new role, Blackley will have oversight of the MSO's advanced engineering and information technology teams.Blackley was previously with Cablevision for 16 years. His most recent assignment was EVP, corporate engineering and technology. Prior to joining Cablevision in 1996, Blackley worked for Royal Insurance, Depository Trust, Long Island Lighting, Con Edison and American International Group.
