Videotron Upping Web Speeds

Canadian cable op Videotron will be upgrading its Internet plans over the coming months, with no increase in rates, to include higher speeds and data limits.Basic Internet will be upgraded to 5 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps up with a 15 GB/month cap; High-Speed Internet goes up to 10 Mbps downstream and 1.5 Mbps up with a cap of 60 GB/month; Ultimate Speed Internet goes up to 20 Mbps downstream and 2 Mbps up with a cap of 90 GB/month; and Ultimate Speed Internet 30 goes up to 30 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps up with a cap of 130 GB/month.
