Tvinci Aims to Make TV Social, Mobile

At IBC, Tvinci will demonstrate its multiscreen 'OTT 2.0' platform, with new features for social TV where viewers can watch, rate, recommend and share content with friends, on any device.IBC will also be the premiere of Tvinci's Mobile 2.0 app for tablets and smartphones, designed to enable the use of two devices in companion mode. The mode is designed to let users use a mobile device for browsing and selecting content through a social EPG that shows what their friends are watching, and then preview via a TV set with a set-top or a smart TV. The companion device can also be used as a remote control.
