The call for papers for SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2012 in Orlando, FL, attracted 250 submissions, outdistancing the 231 entries submitted in 2010; the previous record of 210 had been established in 2009.The abstract pool includes topics in six categories: Business Services; Capacity Management; Network and Technical Operations; Smart Energy Management Initiative (SEMI); Engineering; and Wireless/WiFi. The Expo Program Committee will announce selected abstracts by June 29.
