The long road to EAS CAP compliance is in its final weeks. On June 30, cable operators must have equipment that follows the new rules. It is not enough to just have the gear--operators must prove that it all complies with the new laws. The key to passing muster with the government is a document called the Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity, or SDOC. It is up to their vendor to supply it – and for the operator to make sure that it is accurate and covers the gear they actually are using. This video is sponsored by Monroe Electronics.
