Cox VP on Tap for SCTE-Georgia Tech

Guy McCormick, vice president of technology engineering at Cox Communications, will speak on systems development life cycle (SDLC) processes when the SCTE and the Georgia Tech College of Management debut their Management Development Program May 7-11 in Atlanta.In his session, McCormick will speak about the end-to-end project and portfolio management processes Cox has implemented to enable better and faster service delivery to customers.The McCormick presentation will be one of three special sessions in the SCTE-Georgia Tech program. Dan Murphy, senior vice president of engineering and operations for Comcast's Central Division, will speak on the challenges and opportunities cable engineering and operations managers are facing today, and Marty Davidson, vice president, engineering and network operations for SCTE, will be leading a session on cable network management and total cost of ownership (TCO) awareness for cable products and services.
