At Expo, Spirent Communications introduced a Field Management System (FMS) application for its Tech-X Flex field test solution. It's designed to provide field technicians and operations personnel increased visibility into automated test results, inventory, and repair management information through a single application.Field technicians can increase installation and maintenance process compliance while storing test results and managing inventory, which is accessible by field and operations personnel. FMS also supports gathering and analyzing SLM, DOCSIS 3.0 and other test results for real-time communication with field technicians, who can share their results for immediate validation before leaving the job site.
