Sumitomo Completes 3rd DPoE Interop

Sumitomo Electric Networks participated in the third DOCSIS Provisioning of EPON (DPoE) interoperability event hosted by CableLabs in Louisville, CO, together with other DPoE suppliers, on Aug. 22-26. Sumitomo completed interoperability testing with its DPoE platform supporting access interfaces including 1G and 10G EPON, combined with scalable L2/L3 switching capabilities and a multi-terabit backplane.
