Avail-TVN announced its new fully managed multi-screen video service, called AnyView. AnyView is intended to allow service providers to extend the traditional VOD and linear TV experience to authenticated, broadband-connected devices such as PCs, Macs, tablets and smart phones. Avail-TVN is demonstrating the AnyView solution at the Cable Show in Chicago this week.Trials of the service are scheduled to begin in U.S. markets in July. International trials are currently underway at select sites -- including several markets in the Caribbean -- and are expected to move to commercial deployments in Q3 2011. The offering includes:
