Harmonic to Spotlight Multi-Screen Video

At Expo in New Orleans next week, Harmonic (www.harmonicinc.com) will feature its portfolio of video infrastructure solutions designed to enable operators to create, prepare and deliver personalized entertainment services to TV sets, PCs and mobile devices. The company will also unveil a full-band universal HFC transmitter designed to reduce fiber usage, free up bandwidth for commercial applications and extend fiber reach.Featured demonstrations at Harmonic's booth 1251 will include tools for IP cable services; the ProStream 1000 with ACE any-to-many transcoder; the Electra 8000 universal encoder; the Distribution Management System (DMS); the NMX 6, a new version of Harmonic's digital service manager and IRIS QoS monitoring and control software; and the new SUPRALink universal transmitter and the recently introduced NSG 9000 HectoQAM universal edge processing platform.
