PMC-Sierra, Incognito Team on FTTx for Cable Ops

PMC-Sierra (www.pmc-sierra.com), an Internet infrastructure semiconductor solution provider, and Incognito Software (www.incognito.com) today announced a live demonstration of a complete EPON provisioning solution designed to provide cable operators with end-to-end management capabilities and enable FTTx deployments. The companies will demonstrate this solution at the PMC-Sierra booth during the CableLabs Summer Conference in Keystone, CO, this week.The joint demonstration will showcase Incognito Software's access network agnostic device provisioning software with PMC-Sierra's end-to-end EPON solution based on 1G and 10G EPON technology with a focus on network management, QoS, and service assurance for a DOCSIS environment.
