SCTE Adds NetOps to Georgia Tech Syllabus

The SCTE and the Georgia Institute of Technology College of Management announced the addition of a session on small- and large-scale network operations and facility management for their Management Development Program May 7-11 in Atlanta.

The session will feature discussion of proactive network maintenance and how strategic business decisions can be made considering concepts such as the total cost of ownership. Among the issues addressed will be proactive management from the workforce, customer and financial perspectives, as well as the tools, processes, measurement methodology and communications associated with proactive network operations.

The session will be led by Marty Davidson, vice president of engineering and network operations with the SCTE.
