The new release spans industry-specific operational and business support systems (OSS/BSS) and network control and optimization systems, Amdocs says. With the Commerce solution, for example, operators will be able to manage and sell communications services, bundled with digital products like video content and device accessories, across their online channels. A single catalog and customer-facing system supports purchase and re-contracting flows from discovery to delivery.
Meanwhile, the Omni-Channel Billing Experience solution adds interactive HTML email billing capabilities and multi-channel bill distribution. This will allow customers to access bill information and view usage/charges whether they are online or offline. They also will be able to pay charges and explore promotional offers through their online bill.
