The SMG-HP ("High Performance") is the newest offering in the AlphaGateway family, and the first to carry the "HP" designator. Designed from inception to warrant this name, the SMG-HP incorporates power, speed and handling in a small form factor to optimize MSO business opportunities. Attributes include:
- Higher throughput speed, via a hardened DOCSIS 3.1 modem
- Multi-port output
- Better "handling" via routing/BsoD firmware
- Higher power: up to 100 W
