Amphenol Broadband Solutions OSP AOM - 4 Diamonds

Sept. 29, 2020
Amphenol Broadband Solutions’ OSP AOM (Advanced Optical Module) offers broadband service providers a cost-effective approach to increase the capacity of embedded fiber cable. By occupying unused space within previously deployed OSP closures, each OSP AOM can offer up to 48 additional fiber channels. Mechanical mounting ensures that the OSP AOM is securely protected from the normal jostling that comes with other attachment methods. Finally, the location of test ports provides a technician convenient access with a minimal amount of movement of the trays within the OSP closure. The OSP AOM saves both time and capital while expanding fiber network capacity.

Judge’s Comment: “While there are a number of products available in this space, this will be one of the better choices for cable operators.”
