The deals will enable it to serve rural Ohio towns better and address more multi-family broadband opportunities.

Pavlov Media is on the acquisition trail again, acquiring iZone Broadband and Inspire Wi-Fi to bolster its rural market and multifamily capabilities.

By acquiring Central Ohio-based iZone Broadband, Pavlov gains an immediate presence in rural areas, including SW Knox, NW Licking, and NE Delaware Counties. Pavlov Media can expand its residential and business service area to Central Ohio through this acquisition.

Cory Douglas, CEO of Pavlov Media, said the acquisition reflects the company’s desire to extend its service into new areas. "The Pavlov Media team is constantly seeking new opportunities to expand into new states, communities, or towns that have a potential need for fiber-optic Internet," he said.

With its acquisition of Inspire Wi-Fi, Pavlov will have more capabilities to target leasing offices, clubhouses, and amenity areas—three critical growth areas in the multifamily broadband market. Inspire serves over 500 communities with hotspots, wireless coverage and community-wide services.

"We believe that the clubhouse, common areas and amenity spaces have become a central focus for apartment owners and developers today," said Bryan J. Rader, President, MDU of Pavlov Media. "Our clients need customized solutions for these areas of their communities, which address specific resident and property needs."

Pavlov Media has leveraged the Inspire Wi-Fi acquisition to develop its product set for common and amenity areas called Pavlov Spaces. It will market Pavlov Spaces to current and future customers as a solution for its common spaces around their apartment communities.

"We believe there's a need for a strong bundle of products and services for Spaces, which include hotspots, backup circuits, office phones and other ancillary services designed for these spaces in multi-family," Rader said.

The terms of these deals were not disclosed.
