TruVizion is a web-based diagnostics application that provides current and historical data on the health of the CMTS, DOCSIS network and CPE. New features added in the last year include historical in-home WiFi statistics and real-time spectrum data from CPE.
TruVizion allows call center staff to view, on a single screen, performance indicators that show the health and performance of a cable modem and connection and key stats for the port the modem is connected to. One click away is additional information on the customer's in-home WiFi network, VoIP connection and real-time downstream spectrum capture of all channels passing through the modem.
The application also shows the location of offline modems and historical charts showing readings of modems and ports over time. The CMTS diagnostics screen lists worst performing ports based on power levels, SNR, bandwidth utilization and codeword errors. A spectrum capture feature displays the full spectrum for all channels on a PC, tablet or smartphone, from any location. This eliminates the need to drive to a home to connect a meter.
Diamonds judges applauded TruVizion and said the solution provides value to the call center, maintenance and repair organization, and installation.
