Crystal Citrine v7.5 is the latest update to Crystal's network management system, which centralizes, tracks and visualizes signal flow through entire video and data networks. This new version is designed to improve workflow efficiency and provide operators greater control.

System health monitoring allows broadcasters to build custom reports and collect data about device state for multiple devices and then displays that information to operators. The goal is to understand equipment status and how it performs over the long term. The system is then able to use predictive algorithms to provide alerts to potential faults before they occur. A second new component, Logic, automates fault handling, which aims for faster resolution and reaction to any given fault condition.

Crystal also has updated the Active Faults Window to include features like the ability to record the user interface during a fault. By capturing actions like mouse clicks and key presses, Citrine v7.5 can analyze how the user reacted, including how quickly and whether the actions were appropriate.

Other features of v7.5 include a streamlined process for authenticating Linux ZFC users, which enables remote control of Crystal GUIs from Linux systems when Windows machines are not present. And an integrated screen editor simplifies the process of configuring Crystal user interfaces.
