The CX350s is an all-in-one installer meter designed for MSO business services. It combines multiple test sets for RF, Ethernet and T-1 and offers a touch-screen GUI that provides a similar look and feel for these distinct test applications. This minimizes training time, VeEX says.
Specifically, the CX350s includes Advanced SLM for RF level; QAM MER/BER and ingress; video and audio power level measurements; forward and return path QAM measurements; advanced digital measurements (including HUM, EVM, phase jitter, symbol rate error, frequency response and group delay); a dual band DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem with 8x4 channel bonding; a built-in upstream generator; true gigabit Ethernet BERT and throughput tests; service level agreement validation; a T-1 interface to verify clocking; and a TDR to locate cable faults.
There are optional USB test tools, including an optical power meter, fiber scope and WiFi for connectivity and AP signal strength.
