VEX uses manifest manipulator software to support multiscreen ad delivery by dynamically altering adaptive bitrate video streams. It enhances active viewing information with subscriber data and input from rules, policy and external decision systems. It can scale to meet any deployment size and is capable of both zone-based and individual targeting across any video platform, including live TV.
This Technology is offering the front end of VEX, which operators use to connect their ad systems to content delivery networks and video players, via a source code licensing model. Customers can interface with and insert ads into any device's video player from any content source. They do not have to go back to This Technology every time a new player needs to be supported.
