The Expedus DVA IP is a scalable QoS and QoE monitoring probe that simultaneously decides and captures thumbnail images every second for hundreds of programs - a capability one Diamonds judge called impressive. Specifically, it can handle up to 300 programs on 1 Gb or 10 Gb inputs and monitors 24/7.
The tool is designed to locate content impairments and transport problems, identify when and where they occurred in the network, and produce actionable information to address issues before they impact customer experience. Furthermore, IneoQuest says it ensures content integrity, validates commercial delivery, confirms audio loudness levels, and provides regulatory compliance monitoring for both linear and multiscreen/OTT delivery networks.

The Expedus DVA IP offers headend monitoring of linear broadcast TV and can be deployed anywhere content is generated, altered or modified. It monitors the integrity of the content at the ingress point and also ensures content is free from impairments post aggregation. For multiscreen/OTT monitoring, the Expedus DVA IP is located at transcoders and post-segmentation to isolate problems and prevent transport stream degradation.
