The DS2800 Network Analyzer is manufactured by Deviser and marketed by Electroline. It is an all-in-one tool for performing the installation, verification and maintenance of cable networks. A capability called persistence testing allows the tool to identify constant and intermittent impairments such as impulse noises that can be hiding under a single or bonded upstream DOCSIS 3.0 return path signal. The persistence signal is color-coded. The darker the red, the higher percentage of signal presence that can be viewed underneath the DOCSIS bursty transmission. This makes it easier for technicians to spot impairments.
The DS2800 can detect LTE interference under digital QAM signals in the downstream path through an EVS analysis test. This is an in-service test that allows technicians to see low levels of interference that typically cannot be seen with frequency domain. A dual display allows both QAM demodulated measurements and spectrum analysis to be displayed simultaneously. The user has an overall and uninterrupted view of what is going on in the signal, in the same screen view.
