The accompanying cost-based scheduling solution is "way ahead of their competition."
The solution encompasses scheduling and mobility tools that provide operators with visibility, alignment, and optimization of the service fulfillment and assurance lifecycle. It is packaged according to the TM Forum's Application Framework, optimizes workers' shifts and tasks, and supports individuals or techs working as part of a team. All of ClickSoftware's products and apps run on public or private clouds or on-premises and are device agnostic. The solution uses street level routing and predictive traffic, which considers the typical travel speeds by time of day and road segment; truth-based appointments, which looks at the actual schedule to provide arrival times based on locations of jobs already booked and times; and optimization as a service in the cloud, which enables optimization requests on a transactional basis.
