Amdocs says that by combining process automation and technical design, the Small Cell Solution reduces network deployment costs by up to 25% and shortens network design time by up to 50%.
Specifically, the solution uses a catalog-driven approach to workflow, which means it uses component building blocks so that it can dynamically generate project plans and end-to-end design on demand for each WiFi installation project. This reduces design time and human error while scaling to many thousands of simultaneous projects. No IT specialists are needed to modify business process execution language (BPEL) workflow models.
